I read Psalm 130 this morning. Look at this particular verse:
Psalm 130:7 O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption.
And then I read Luke 7:36-50, the story of the sinful woman crashing Simon the Pharisee’s dinner party with Jesus. There he forgave her of her many sins and there he made the statement that should resonate with every believer: “He who is forgiven little, loves little.” O Sinners, know that with Jesus there is plentiful redemption. O Christian, know that you have been plentifully forgiven. Rest in your plentiful savior. And love him plentifully. [Geesh, I hope plentifully is a word.]
